Hi, I'm Mert.
I'm a Computer Engineer, but most of what I've actually learned happened in production, when something broke. I've spent close to three years at Turkish Technology working with Linux and Oracle WebLogic infrastructure — a good chunk of most days goes into answering 'why did this just go down.'
I got tired of doing repetitive things by hand, so I automate them with Python, Bash, and Ansible, and I've reworked our Grafana/Prometheus/AWX setup to cut down alert noise. Right now I'm putting time into CCNA, DevOps, and Kubernetes — closing gaps on the infrastructure side.
I carry the same habit into the web projects I build myself: writing security-hardened backends, caring about real-user performance data, and — in my thesis project — applying Zero-Trust principles to a RAG system.
Getting something to work isn't enough for me — I want to understand why it works, and when it's going to break.
I like volunteering technical support for non-profits — Çağırgan Derneği's website is exactly how that started.

- Manage, monitor, and maintain continuity of corporate Linux and Oracle WebLogic infrastructure across roughly 2,000 servers (1,500 production / 500 test).
- Built 50+ operational automations using Python, Bash, and Ansible, standardizing processes and reducing manual operations.
- Improved alerting, monitoring, and automated remediation through Grafana, Prometheus, and AWX integrations; designed dynamic notification routing based on alert tags.
